Damaged my credit score through tarting

i dont there is any proof that tarting damages your credit rating, its just multiple applications can.0

I'm going to lay off applying for cards for a while, in a perverse way getting turned down for new cards has made me more finacially disciplined. Rather than kicking my debt into the high grass knowing I wasn't paying interest on it I've had a wake up call and almost cleared it. I've been determand not to pay interest charges as I'm no longer use to paying them as say I was 6 or 7 years ago when you couldn't tart.
That new hifi will have to wait till my credit score improves or I could be really old fashioned and save for it lol.0 -
I have had exactly the same problems, only without the number of credit searches. This seems to be down to reducing my credit limits and closing cards. Do a search for my big thread on it. Its quite interesting if I may say so myself0

My experian report was 15 pages long! Just be sensible, close down unused cards and keep paying on time and you shouldn't have any problems. I haven't so far *touches wood*
