Gemini Parking Solutions

Options
Looks like either their website is down for a technical reason, or my complaint to Trading Standards and the OFT has worked, just to tell you that I complained about the fact that they were making claims of authority on their website, and it may have worked, wonder if they are being liquidated as well lol?

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Well done taffy for making complaints and being heard in the right places. :T:T

Any complaints about PPCs are worthwhile, including complaining where it may seem pointless, like to the BPA.

They have to (or should) keep records and a massive increase in complaints from the public about their dodgy PPC World members isn't going to look good for the BPA if they are still trying to make the government believe that they can actually handle an 'independent appeals process' (as if!!!!!!! Norman Baker and Lynne Featherstone, it cannot happen, this is an industry that needs banning not regulating/licensing/or OMG giving them powers like a Local Authority!).

Keep on complaining everyone, this is clearly a scam industry which is not defamation, it is a fact confirmed by their own actions. I have noticed that MSE seem to have accepted that word seeing as it was correctly used by Watchdog - and by Martin Lewis himself, along with 'cowboys'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Scammers --yes !

    Cowboys --yes !

However taking into consideration that a significant number of BPA member companies and their agents (i.e. Debt Collectors) send out letters that contain blatant lies AND the BPA must be aware of the issue,as are the DCA's and in particular any "Solicitors" involved, then what they are doing is attempting to obtain payment by a dishonest deception (not always but a lot of the time).

So the word we should be using here is FRAUDSTERS !!!

Under DSR should they not show a proper and full address not just a PO box? Its back up by the way, don't know if Taffys concerns have been addressed.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Their website is still full of rubbish. For a start, what are "non disable people"?. The same page keeps going on about "fines", and other pages keep mentioning "illegal parking" on private land.

    eCommerce (EC Directive) Regs 2002

Meanwhile, and as I always dislike finding a company who try to hide behind a PO Box No, a gentle stroll around Gemini's history reveals that the company owns another domain - www.skyline-roofingservices.com based at accountant's offices in an otherwise residential street in Loughton and offices for Gemini - above an MOT centre - in Wanstead. Do they really have separate offices? So, seeing as the same man is behind both of them is he a roofer turned car parkist or a car parkist turned roofer?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I might be onto a loser with this,
""the geographic address at which the service provided is established. (This not necessarily his principal or registered office, nor the usual address that he cites for the purpose of sending communications. Rather, it is the address that derives from the definition of “established service provider” and so indicates the Member State whose laws will, in general, apply to the provision of the service in question); ""
    Pity.

Oh dear. Someone has let out the bag that Mobilise (sorry, Disabled Motoring UK) get a kickback from ticketing: http://www.geminiparkingsolutions.com/disabled-bay-parking.html
Any vehicle found to be misusing or unofficially taking up a disabled parking bay, will be fined and 10% of that fine will immediately go to charity.

    Nice COUNCIL signage as well.

Don't think you are. Standard advice is that the address must be a geographic one not a PO Box.

I'll try a complaint to Trading Standards and see what happens.
