As per the title, I've been looking til I am blue in the face and I thought that it would just be best to ask.

We need one for UK and Europe - possibly being able to update it to include US maps next year however, they are quite cheap to hire so this is not essential. Europe maps are essential though.

Speed Camera and lane speed option would be nice. I looked at Tom Tom and their reviews are average on Amazon.

Also worried we might get one and then have to pay more money to have to update maps if we buy one that is an older model.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

not tomtom - purchased direct from tomtom refurb shop = good deal but old maps 3 years out of date and it costs about £70 to update.

TomTom every time! Still way ahead of the competition.

Get a 'last model' x50 series cheap from Amazon and you get latest map when you go online. I paid £150 for a 950 with HD Traffic a couple of months ago.

Have a look: TomTom x50 series (No cheap deals today - but keep looking)

Then get speed cameras from pocketgps.co.uk
