Refusing Paypal payment by credit card?

Hi

I was just wondering if I can set my Paypal not to accept payments from buyers using credit cards as I get charged a transaction fee? I'm not a business seller, I just have a personal account.

To sell on ebay you must accept paypal and as you can't tell how a buyer funds their payment you cna't possibly expect to be able to block those who use any form of card. You need a premier account to sell and you just have to pay the fees like the rest of us.

Even if someone pays via existing funds you will pay a charge anyway even on a private account. It is only the very basic account that is not designed for use on ebay that can take direct balance transfers free of charge.
