Sorry havent had a chance to get on over the weekend.

    **UPDATE**

My Inusrance Company have called to say that a loss adjuster has been appointed to the claim and will contact me within 24-48 hours to take details of the claim.

They may want to come to inspect the damage, so will presumably try to arrange a convenient appointment.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

    ***UPDATE***

Just to let you know that More Than appointed a firm called Crawfords as the loss adjuster. After a bit of reading about Crwafords I was worried they would try and wriggle out of it.

They came around yesterday afternnon to view the damage and I couldnt of been more wrong. The guy was very friendly and professional. Looked at the damage, where the pipe had been replaced. Took photos and agreed that the work there and then. Said he knew the local firm and thought they had put in a decent price and not a million miles from what they think it would cost. Gave me a letter to pass to the builder to get the work booked in and they pay him upon completiton of the work. He said that it probably was a slow leak from the pipe that would of built up over months.

So all in all I cannot fault either More Than or Crawfords.

    Thanks for any advice
