Class T amplifier - low cost hifi?

Any one used a Class T amplifier?

I am researching this area at the moment and interested in your views.

    Ive no experience of Class T myself (Got an oddball Class H though)

    I've no direct experience either - though as Tripath amp modules are used in a number of car stereos there's a good chance I've listened to one without realising.

    I looked into it a while ago and came to the conclusion that they are best suited to integration in other products, with pretty average specs and very average distortion figures at rated output.

    They are reputed to sound quite good, which probably says more about how hyped and overpriced audiophool-grade amplifiers are than anything else...
