The laptop we have seems to have a virus or something that shouldnt be there, should i put something onto a usb stick to remove offending item.
The my cmputer screen is up and for each of the icons theres flashing red text saying number of viruses found and the windows security alert box has popped up giving a list of spyware and adware have been found.
Would the first 4 steps of this thread be my best bet.
Thanks

If you are running a 32 bit OS, download and save Hitman Pro to your Desktop(or USB drive if necessary).
For 64bit OSes, click here
Once saved, hold down the Ctrl key situated on the left of the keyboard whilst double clicking on the Hitman Pro .exe file in order to start the program. Then follow the simple instructions.
