Car bought in good will ain't Good!

Recently bought a new VW tiguan when I approached the salesmen same same guy I bought my previous golf of, I took the car for a test drive really liked it the only thing I wanted was cruise control which he said could be fitted. Bought the car in good will never questioned his expertise asked him to order cruise control in to be fitted the following week the same dealer called me to state that cruise control can't be fitted to my tiguan due to a particular problem VW were working on I don't want the car if I can't have cruise control but the dealer refuses to help me and it took me over 14 days to get a reply from VW uk who stated that the dealer was looking in to it. Any advise????

Do you have anything in writing from the dealer about the cruise control?

There is a forum 'My Tiguan' where someone may know about the viability of getting cruise retro-fitted. I don't see why it shouldn't be possible, but my guess is that the dealer has made the sale, got your money and his energies are now being spent elsewhere.
