Can this possibly be correct?

I moved into my property end of August last year, at the time I was with Swalec and paid our usage monthly (not DD) at the time I was paying around £30 per month between the gas and electric - during the winter this went up to around £90 until I switched suppliers, when I did this my bills dropped to around £60. Since the cold has subsided the heating has been turned off again so my usuage has significantly decreased - last month totaling £27 between the two, this month I just pulled up the mid-month statement and its sitting at £7  now I know there is still another 12 days left of this month but that just seems ridiculously low....Even at double the usuage that still only £14?
The meter readings are correct and everything seems 'right' in that aspect but I don't understand...Im paying a £60p/m DD and using the equivalent of £7 gas + elec. The place is 2 beds, Gas central heated, electric cooker etc.....Cannot possibly get it to make sense, Im begining to wonder if there is either a fault with my electric meter or the wiring in my flat is incorrect!
