Hey Guys!
I was just reading the article below. Great article BTW Martin ! :money:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1106688587,89908,#solicitor
Has anyone ever tried to haggle with a solicitor? It's just the only person I would not try to negociate with. Estate agents Ok (no offence...
) they are probably expecting it, but solicitors???

I was referred to one sol and I said what price can you give me, she wouldnt budge. the second one offered me a discount without asking!
Ive queried additions on the bill, but theyve already paid themselves so it was all a bit futile in the end. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Well I don't think you should offer them cash with a wink! But an equiry along the lines of "Is that the best you can do? I had not budgeted for quite that amount" might get a result. However they are all quite competitive and their prices really do reflect the amount work there is. More time on the file if leases involved for a start.0

I would not want to aregue with my own solicitor at £4 per minute
i.e. £205 +Vat
i.e. £205 +£3587 = £240.87 per hour = £4.01 per minute...0
