I have a Whirplool washer dryer (not my choice, it came with my new build house) We have 5 year warrenty with it and since having it for 7 months I have just waved the engineer off for the 8th time! He probably didn't even get to the end of the road when it broke again!
I have tried making a complaint but all I get are snotty customer service advisors who tell me I am wrong and refuse to help.
Does anyone have any contacts to make a complaint. I want this dealt with as I have been without a washing machine for 2 weeks now and its not fair to rely on parents all the time!

You need to take it up with the house-builder. You bought it from them, not from Whirlpool. Whirlpool will just keep sending an engineer out, they have no responsibility to replace the washer-dryer...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

I have tried going back to Barretts and they refuse to deal with it! They say it is the resposability of Whirlpool

Just had a call from Whirlpool and they are going to replace the machine!!!! Persistance pays off in the end.0
