£10 Tesco Meal deal for £4.07

still waiting for my vouchers - been updating page all day.

so busy concerntrating on that i got a chicken ready to roast for sunday dinner this afternoon (fresh) even though got them on meal deal.

chopped some fresh potatoes (also on meal deal)

put a 2nd chicken in slow cooker with chopped carrots/leeks/celery to amke soup (even though i have been out and bought 10!!!! meal deals since friday)

also put on some mash and green veg from meal deal and onto 2nd bottle of turners (don;t normally drink)

i cannot think straight does this always happen when these offers are on.

went out friday and got 2 x 2 deals in 2 purchases.
got vouchers saturday morning so went back again saturnday afternoon and got 2 x 3 meal deals. spoke to mum on phone in carpark then went bak in and bought a load of veg thinking i woudln;t have any toi go with all meal deals and 4 meats for £12.

after i spend this last lot of vouchers if i ever get anyu i am never going in there again............:mad::mad::mad:

still no vouchers

anyway we had a nice roast dinner with green veg and cheesy mash and i still have fridge full of meals to last in week when everyone at work.....

just want my vouchers .:mad::mad::mad:

no vouchers yet either:( hope we get the vouchers, was gutted when DTD finished,hadn't been all week and didn't have a big stockpile like some (not jealous at all:rotfl:), would really like another couple of meal deals (at least;))

Bought 2 meal deals today Turner Road of course wasn't in the fridge with all other meal deal stuff.. but I've found some in the wine aisle
Used my last DTD voucher and paid only £2

Getting worried now.
Had 24 vouchers over the weeks, and never had to wait as long as this for them to come through

Tesco in Newtonabbey are no longer doing this meal deal, maybe Tesco's have clocked onto it.
When asked I was told that they are swapping to their summer menu and will be back soon........

Will try another branch tomorrow and see if its the same

Went back today to get a few more meal deals but the Turners was OOS and another wine was in the meal deal so I didn't bother getting any.

Another reason for getting several meals was to get the petrol coupon. I was going to get 3 and make it up to £50 with some clothing that could be returned.

As I didn't get the meal deals I thought I'd just get an electrical item, get my petrol coupon and return the item later.

Now here's the best bit.......

I was overcharged by £25 so got DTD back :T but can I return the item? The receipt wasn't marked but I did use my Tesco credit/club card. Can they tell that I received DTD for the overcharge?

ok so after yesterdays hassle with the meal deal i was def sure to get only the things marked as being in the deal....

I got a lovely young lad on the till who in my previous shop took my dtd voucher and didnt fuss over the numbers so great i thought.

But this shop the meal deal went thro at normal price and came to 22.xx on its own. I asked if that was part of the meal deal and he said..dunno best to get someone to check them items...

Here is what i bought.....
turners chard
lasagne the veg one
creamy mash
choc sponge dessert

The chap got a troutish looking lady and i thot dare i risk it or not using my last dtd voucher....as i had extended the expiry date. She took me to customer services phew....

the girl on CS said its the creamy mash...tell them not to put it out...as it is the cheesy mash on offer....everyone had been going to her with the creamy mash apparantly.

but she said she would put it thro...i said it no problem i can get the other mash... but she said it was their problem so she could do it manually....OHNO my turners!!

So she put the items thro manually....each at £1 and the turners at £6....so it came to £9 plus clothing i got which was £10. so total 19.xx

Thinking this out i said to her thats not right....and explained the deal was ten pounds so she said she thought it was 9 and corrected the chard to £7 to make up for it...

My receipt is looking a mess..... and if i submit it the turners goes in as £7 not 9.99. DOH

Whats more she took my receipt and stapled it on to my last voucher. boohoo
