Programs buttons on taskbar now right aligned

Hi.
the program buttons on my taskbar (those that appear whenever you open a new window/program) have shifted to the right hand side so that they are right next to the system tray. Now, whenever I open more than one window, there is no space for them (they won't move along to the left) so I just get the two arrows and a scroll list which makes going through them very difficult.
Anyone know how I can get these buttons back to the left hand side, next to the start button like they were originally? I do not have the Quick Launch bar enabled.
Thanks.
Hussein.

Hi. the install of IE7 seemed to fix it. Thanks for the link, I've no idea how it happened in the first place, but should it happen again I'll know now how to fix it. No, I can't seem to be able to drag those buttons, although it could be due to the taskbar being 'locked'.
Thanks again. All sorted now.
