Still trying to get the little b*ggers to go to sleep. They are so used to our normal routine that any change throws them right out :mad:0 -
Oh no, good luck! I had the opposite problem, Ds was soooo tired and a bit grumpy today, think it's his teeth bothering him. He was ready for bed at 5pm really but managed to keep him up until half six so he sleeps well. Think we may be in for a few wake ups as usual though, he's a bit restless just now.0

Finally all quiet. That should be it for DD - she's a great sleeper (once she finally goes off) and will go through til morning. DS has an annoying habit of waking about 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning and he usually ends up in bed with us to try and avoid him waking his sister - at least we have a kingsize bed. I just hope he's out of the habit before he starts to get really big (hopefully before he starts secondary school LOL!).0

lol your lil ones sound like ours. DD goes off and sleeps till morning (usually 6 am though...i need to fix this lol) DS on the other hand has just gone off about half hour ago on the sofa  i had to bring him down as he was jumping on his sister's bed trying to get her to play with him. Monkey!
I hope the washing machine isn't too expensive to fix either, Yours is the second diary i've just commented on about broken washing machines  hope it's not a sign mine will be the 3rd :eek:Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. I could kick myself - I'm such a bl##dy moron!!!! Washing machine guy has just gone and charged me the £45 call out fee to tell me that the delay start was on which is why it wouldn't switch on!!!!! I bet it was the children - they can't resist pressing buttons but I can't believe I didn't spot it myself :mad::mad:
At least it wasn't something significantly more expensive - I know what my eBay profits will be spent on nowLets hope the boiler only needs servicing and nothing more expensive.

Surprise, surprise the boiler also needed a new pump at a cost of £110 plus fitting  The lad servicing couldn't tell me exactly how much it would all cost but I'll get an invoice in the next few weeks - bet I won't have much change out of £250
PLus we've just booked our summer holiday cottage - a week in Wales for £390. Actually quite good value, we've been there before, but that needs saving for over the next few months.
So today I have spent...
£45 - washing machine
£30 - holiday cottage deposit
£250 ish - boiler service and repair
Grand total - £325
Better get some more stuff listed on eBay!0 -

I was a bit surprised at being charged too! He was quite a nice guy but won't be using that company in future - £45 for pressing a button is a bit much!0
