From what I have read, I believe Stage 4 JSA is one of the following:
I met with my JCP advisor today where he put me on to Stage 4 and told me I would be referred on to an external provider. I asked questions about it and he didn't know anything. I asked:
Could someone please explain what Stage 4 is? :undecided
- Sign-on as usual
- Meet with advisor at external provider
- 4-6 hours supervised jobsearch at provider
- Do this every fortnight for 12 months
- 4 weeks work experience

- Who the provider is?
- What will happen at the provider?
- How many weeks the course will last for?
- How many hours?

these providers are agencies that do what i reclon the JCP could / should be doing..
sorting people's cv out, getting skills updated, helping with application letters, bus /train fares to interviews and the like..
nothingto be afraid of!
(each stage, i think, steps up at 6 month intervals..the free bus pass on stage 2 /3 ends here!)Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

Stage 4, if my memory serves me correctly, is the stage that invloves either some kind of job 'experience' working and still receiving your benefit + expenses, or going to an external provider for general annoyance, sorry assistance.0
