How to get the Money into your Bank Account

I have a Tesco card with 5k on it. Just got a Barclays card and credit limit of 10k. If I use Barclays to BT to the Tesco the surplus would go to my bank account.
I am not sure if there are any fees though.

I did the same thing 6 months ago but mbna to Asda card. (Before Asda was santander, and them mbna)

Im sure i have done this in the past - closed a positive balance and got a cheque/bank payment.

Just been looking to confirm this??
