Hello,
Can anyone help me to find out if we are eligable for working tax credit?
I am currently not working - at home taking care of our child.
My income for this year is £5000 (holiday and overtime payment from last year, paid this year when the maternity leave ended n april)
My husband is self employeed and will earn app £19000 this year, he works 50 hours a week.
We have have 1 child.
Many thanks,
Can anyone help me to find out if we are eligable for working tax credit?

Presumably you are already claiming child tax credits for your 1 child so when you renew your entitlement to child tax credits and working tax credits will be calculated for you. If you want to check in the meantime - you can use https://www.entitledto.co.uk to find out your entitlement for this year.

WTC and CTC are claimed together, do you get CTC now? You should get at least the family element about £10.50pw.
You are eligible for WTC elements but you won't actually get any because your income is too high (unless your OH gets disability elements).0
