Hi, I've trawled holiday websites but wondered about any advice/ideas on here.
we are looking for our summer holiday for end July/beg August 2012, for around 10 nights. We stayed IN Palma Nova last year and that was ideal as I have mobility problems and cannt walk far, we stayed in ahotel across from the beach, but we would like a hotel with a bit more to offer.
We would like a good sized pool, restaurant(S), pool bar, entertainment and very near beach, shops.
We are 2 adults, and at that time we will have a 15yr old and a 10 yr old.
Can anyone reccomend anything? We liked Majorca, but willing really to try other areas of Spain, witha budget of around £2k.
MAny thanks x

Have you looked at Almeria? Thomas Cook sell packages here and there are some nice hotels. All Roquetas de Mar or Mojacar hotels they do are opposite the spacious beach and close to shops/bars/restaurants or easy to get to them on the local bus (Mojacar, runs up and down the Playa all day until early hours of the morning) or the tourist train (Roquetas).
Both resorts are a bit more Spanish than the usual Spanish resorts and there are some beautiful parts to both. Mojacar Pueblo is a village on a hill, easily reached by the local bus and is stunning. The Playa area of Mojacar is pretty much flat though so ideal for people with mobility problems.:beer:0
