*Newsflash*

British Gas have REMOVED websave 11. Websaver 12 has now been released from today and is available to sign up on the BG website.

Let you know more when I have the information.

*EDIT - indications show it is marginally more expensive than websaver 11, by around 1%.

The tariff has cancellation fees of £30 gas, £30 ele - you must pay by direct debit, and the tariff is until september 2012.

Limited availability apparently.
Let us create a better world for the next generation.

    Thanks for the heads up.
I wonder if it will be around in October when my WS8 runs out.

I'd be very surprised to be honest if it was still around at that point. Websaver tariffs seem to be changing every 4 months or so at the moment - and it does say specifically limited availability. Obviously that's just an educated guess though - could still be around...!

    Does it matter?

The tariffs are being talked up so not surprising.

It is linked to the variable rate (as was WS11) so no guarantees.

I would not say 'marginal in my case the difference means an extra £7 each month a total of £84 a year and being a variable rate when the standard rate goes up 'much more' and it has now lost top billing on the comparison charts websaver 11 was a winner

It still comes up cheapest for me, (£1097.91) but £30 more than websaver 11 and £40 cheaper than eon saveonline7 dual fuel which is £1139.42.

I guess that depends on one's view of 'marginal' in terms of energy prices in this day and age.
