Furniture Village efficiency

We recently took delivery of 2 sofas from Furniture Village. After we had signed the delivery note confirming "no damage", and the delivery guys had left, we did in fact notice some cosmetic damage to one of the sofas.
We contacted FV who sent out someone to look at the damage, and then offered us a repair or replacement. We opted for a replacement, and they let us keep the damaged sofa until the new one was delivered a few weeks later.
After the replacement was delivered, they wrote to us apologising again, and offering 10% off a future purchase from FV.
Having read about some of the customer service issues that people have experienced with large furniture retailers, I was expecting a bit of a fight. However to FV's credit, they dealt with the replacement efficiently and without argument. We are very satisfied with the outcome and would not hesitate to use them again.
