So how is he going to pay you at that time of night?IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

says HSBC 'faster payment' :undecided which should transfer pretty much straight away0

I would refuse to deal with him unless it is at his business premises - how do you know this guy actually works for the dealership he claims he does?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

no to faxing the V5. NO to taking to his house. if he's a trader the number plate will be sufficiant in obtaining a HPI check for finance etc.
has he laid a deposit on it so you know he's genuinly interested in buying it?
plus the aim of putting that site is to sell to a trader dealer on their premises, and have a buisiness check/balance transfurr given to you and everything put on headed paper, how are you going to get this with taking it half way accross the country to his house.
i would cut the deal dead and readvertise, sound like a right messer.0 -

Isn't their a £5K limit on 'faster payments'?
Deal doesn't sound right to me.
Nothing to stop you posting his business address on here - one of us might have dealt with him in the past, or be able to take a look.0 -

The limit for Faster Payments is £10k with HSBC, but if he's using a business/corporate account it will be £100k.

However, faster payments can take up to two hours to arrive and even longer depending on who you bank with.
You could check by telephoning your bank if they offer such a service or internet banking if you can do that from your mobile, but it does sound a bit dubious to me!:A0 -
