all-in-one flea treatment/wormer

I seem to recall when I was in vets last year just before I lost my beloved Springer that there was something new on market for fleas/worms that was a one hit treatment. Have now got a new fella who was flead & wormed at the rescue kennel end of Feb, & re wormed end of April - he's starting to scratch a bit (& me) so I expect hes due another flea treatment - does anyone know of the all -in -one, is it any good or is there something better?

bit concerned if he has fleas as when Nell was in her last days she had problems that way due to her illness so after she passed I did the whole house with Indorex (I think thats what it was called) which is supposed to keep the home flea free for 12 months so it should have lasted until September

Advocate will kill all fleas and worms apart from tapeworm - including lungworm. You still need to treat for (ewwwwwww) tapeworm tho - drontal plus is the cheapest
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

ETA - there is no 'One hit' treatment

Many spot on's will kill roundworms and fleas, but none will do tapeworm and fleas - you need either a drontal plus (or milbemax) for dogs, or a drontal cat(or a milbemax cat) or a droncit spot on - which only kills tapeworms tho, not not roundworms..... plus a POM-V flea treatment!
