Bath Store haggling?
I know they are not particularly cheap (even with current offers) but they have some specifically slim size stuff in a range I need.
Does anyone know if they haggle? especially if your spending a few hundred quid?
Cheers

I think they are franchise stores so it would depend on the store you went to.
& a couple of hundred isn't much money to anyone in that business. They like the people who spend a couple thousand.
If you contacted the online store it may be different. Not Again0 -
yes they do, ask for 10%-15% discount, tell them your trade, if spending a bit0

Yes - I managed to negotiate a 10% discount off sale prices. Just be persistent and charming0

I've worked for them - to be honest you'd have no chance of a discount on a spend of a couple of hundred quid, as the vast majority of customers spend well over £1000. We'd only ever discount on sales of £3k+, and even then it was rare.
A few hundred quid is a lot to you (and me!) but peanuts to them.
Can't hurt to ask though!0 -

I always haggle for anything over £100. They can only say "No". Once I have got the best price I can on the 'Net, I then see if anyone else who I have not spoken to already will beat it.
Remember, no one (should) sell at a loss so a haggle is always worth it.0 -
Thanks, I was looking at spending around £600
It seems they are owned by the same company as plumbcentre.. can I not just get the same stuff there cheaper?0 -
You will probably get a better deal at a local plumbers merchant.0

I spent £600 in the sales, and got about £100 knocked off it.......... highly recommend haggling, it worked!0
