Look after the pennies.....

Wow! I finally got some money bags to bag up my £2 coins and found I had £80!! Not only that but I then did my 5p's and coppers (the tedium) and the grand total comes to £107!!! I still have more change (in coppers) but ran out of bags, although I reckon only another couple of quid.
This has really opened my eyes to the benefit of saving, I've not missed any of those small amounts at a time, but now I have over £100 to save. My bank also said they have no limit on the bags they will take so no need for several trips in either.
Y&R x

Oh well done Y & R! I *love* saving pennies, tuppences & five pences. I love it when the pot is somewhat heavy and I can tip them all in a bag and go & deposit them in my bank account via the coin sorter at HSBC (free). I even love it when I find a penny on the street I can add to the collection...how sad is that!? LOL

It's very true you don't miss the coins when you put them away, I joined in the £2 challenge and I have over £100 which I will probably bank now.

Well done to all of us!!
