Getting my deposit back

I hope someone can help. Iv applied through the DPS to get my deposit back because i havent hear from the LL in over 6 weeks since moving out. So i did the repayment application and it says "waiting on agents response"....but what happens now? do they have to respond within 14days and what if they dont?

Have you contacted the DPS to get an explanation of their process? They will have a procedure that they follow. It certainly sounds like you have waited long enough, but hopefully with a nudge from you it will resolve quite soon.
I'm not a lawyer, so this is just my opinion. Don't go acting on legal advice you get from a stranger on the internet!

Have a look through the FAQs for tenants on the DPS website.
