Hello

I need to park at manchester airport for 1 week in august. Does anybody have recommendations for cheap deal/discounts.

Would rather park on site than get a shuttle bus in - last experience we had with one of those a fewyears ago was terrible. We had to get there at 3am and ended up in the cold sittting waiting for the shuttle bus to leave for over half an hour (they had stated on website that they ran every 15 mins! )

Would rather just get there - park and walk into terminal

ANy discount or recommendations appreciated.

Anybody - even if not got code - recommendation for which car park for easy access to terminal 1 would be appreciated.

I have been looking for a few weeks now and the best price I have been able to find is with Purple Parking using discount code E107W for 25% off.

I would prefer to stay in one of the proper Manc Airport website and the best discount I have been able to find for that is through the AA as members get discount, but I cannot remember what percentage.

Worth reading the airport parking guide on here as there are a few codes on there too.

I booked with APH - much cheaper. I think we stayed in the normal longstay car park at Manchester airport.

I have been using Shentons/Peacock farm for over 20 years and have always been very happy with the service etc. Small family run parking, not the poshist of posh but never had a problem. Last time we used them was Easter this year. But also check the hotels at the airport as you may get a deal on an overnight stay and parking for the week.

We used the valet parking in March through travel extras and it was excellent - just a minutes walk to the terminal and car waiting when you get back - simples!

Purple Parking Park and Ride on their website for a week 05/08-12/08 - £29.75 (code E107W gives 15% off, not 25%)
Secure airport parking on Parkandgo.co.uk website is £23.04 (code PRV1 gives 10% off)

However, I often use Luxury Chauffeur Service Manchester (meeta nd greet) -£34.20 for the same dates, and it is sooo convenient
