Anyone know how to edit an image, cut out a piece & replace with the "dithered" pixelated background that surrounds the cut out piece.
Scanned image, can cut out piece & fill with a colour but can't work out how to fill with dithered pixelated background.
I know how to use the Dropper tool to pickup a colour.
If you select Foreground Properties Material, the you can select Texture, then a Dither (pixelated) fill.
I keep trying but it's hit & miss as I'm not really sure what it's doing.
Anyone know how to do it ?

Found solution which was the Clone Tool.
You can clone a part of the image and brush over selected area.
Couldn't find a way to clone/copy area & Flood Fill in one step.0 -
Wow, I didn't know this was still available.0
