If your jsa payment includes SMI, as you have gone past the 13 week qualifying period, then you sign off for jsa for a short period like a week or two (but not to take up work) - upon doing a rapid reclaim, will your benefit effectively be back at week one again and you need to wait another 13 weeks to start receiving SMI again? or would you just start right back where you were when you signed off and continue to receive SMI payments?
