    oki iv done that and it still crashed, im reinstalling xp again, be done in 2 mins

    try disabling the network card in the bios

    not on all motherboards, you access bios by tapping F2 on boot (or a mesage on screen whn you first turn on should tell you)

    look around for the option as not sure where it will be

    thanks, the only option i remember seeing is F10 for recovery.

    Ill go and have a look now
