It doesn't show one for me either and I've clicked through the original email to the voucher, so it must be ok.

It's just that it states next to a barcode symbol:

'Promotion code applies to retail orders only and cannot be used for bulk orders. The Works reserves the right to cancel any orders deemed to be for wholesale or resale purposes'

Has anyone actually managed to print and use it without the barcode?

Do you mean the barcode symbol on the email from The Works? That's a standard section on all their offer emails that gives details of the dates of the promotion and any special terms - it appears on emails that are about online discount codes as well. I've just checked this in several recent The Works offer emails that were still in my deleted emails folder.

So I don't think there was meant to be a barcode on the printable voucher and I don't think that the fact that there is a small image of a barcode on the email means that there's a barcode missing from the voucher.

But if you're concerned and don't want a wasted trip to the shop it might be an idea to ring the customer service number on the email and see what they have to say.
