thanks hopeful, trouble is that is my normal 'uniform' for work, like the thought of the floaty top though........think i might have it, i have dark jeans, floating black top, ribbon belt thing, cropped white cardi, beads and dune black and white shoes.... think that willbe ok, not easy this smart casual thing!!
  • I hate the smart casual thing as it depends on what you view as smart or casual in the first place. My sisters smart asual is much smarter than mine because of how she has to dress for work, so I go smart when she says smart casual .

What you have chosen sounds perfect!

ok so list of stuff to do in the middle room/nursery
    Move boxes into bedroom underbed
move books to bookshelf in other room
take charity shop stuff to charity bank
fold down table in other room
    chair in spare room
CD's DVDs....... hmmm not sure yet
    Stationery and frames, bedroom underbed
beanbag (has about 4 beans in it, really needs chucking but its OH's, *sigh*)
wardrobe is full of my sewing stuff, might have to move this to the airing cupboard
    bags..... erm.... in other wardrobe.
Chairs, erm..... might put them in OH's play room, he wont be chuffed when he gets back!

Think thats about it, apart from what I need to do with all the baby stuff, needs sorting out and putting in that room, there's just so much of it, not sure where its all going to go!

    Morning :)

Sorry you didnt sleep well again :( I slept ok woke about 5 with cramp ouch!! so legs are sore this morn.

Sounds like a very productive list missymoo! dont do to much though make sure you make time for some well deserved breaks :)

well DS's bed is built yeahhhhhh it looks lovely much better quality than I imagined it is a mid sleeper with a tent underneath he is soooooooo happy with it, need to get him some curtains and bedding today then he can get in there tonight :) gonna put the chest of drawers on hold til I see something suitable I'm not buying something for the sake of it. We started to sort through his toys to move to new room last night, I wiped out tubs aswell as over the bigger toys, we got rid of some broken ones and found a nice box to store all the lego in as we come across it, I swear it gets everywhere.

Your oufit sounds fine, I just tend to wear what i'm comfy in which is current maternity leggings, teamed with a number of different tops :)

well best go got to take DS to school, then to town then midwife appointment at 11, be back later have a good day :)

    xx

Something is in the air, I was up at 2 and went back to sleep at 4. Struggled at 5 and got up at 5.30. Rubbish night I had, will have troubles staying awake and work today:(.

You're doing so much, I wish I would have the energy to do fifth of what you do at home!

Lots of lists you make missy. You have done so much already, i agree with bella tho, make sure you do give yourself some breaks, dont want you overdoing it. You have made lots of progress by the sounds of it on the babys room, i can just imagine the room gradually getting better with all the work you have been doing.

  • The beans are really cheap in Dunelm shops, not sure where the nearest one would be to you in Norfolk. We revived one in DS's room.
