Ideas needed please.

I have started a business making curtains from home and purchased an 8ft x 4ft sheet of 9mm mdf to put on my table to make a large work surface.

The problem is that this sheet of mdf is too big to stand up anywhere when not in use. I was thinking that it could be cut in half and hinged so it is easier to store.
My problem, what kind of hinges would be suitable for this?

Any help would be most appreciated, thanks.

I think "piano hinges" which I have used in similar circs.
