BT prices going up, not mentioned on April bill?

My future FIL has just expressed surprise that I am leaving Bt because the prices are going up on the line rental. He wasn't aware of the line rental increasing from April, so we dug out all his paper bills to show him (I am paperless) and found it isn't mentioned on his Jan, Feb, Mar or April bill.

Also I noticed that his bill from April 23 to 22nd May that is line rental is still £13.60 not £13.90. Will this change?

Also how do paper people know when their prices go up if it isn't mentioned on the bill?
