hi all
have tried ringing mothercare this morning but was on hold for ages so gave up!
so just wondering if you could help.
I bought a buggy in mothercare yesterday that was the display model so got £25 off. but now tesco are doing the same buggy for £35 cheaper. Bbut as I bought display model they said there was no returns. how does the price match work in this circumstance? bearing in mind i bought in store?
thanks for any advice.

Just to let you know, I have just been on the phone and asked them to match a stairgate that Tesco's have for £33.30 plus 25% off on the nursery promotion, they told me they would only match the £33.30 as the match had to be match for match, ie they would have had to have a 25% off too!!!!!!!0

I too tried to price match a gliding crib which although is slightly cheaper on Monthercare as it's on offer, with the Tesco Direct 25% off code taken into account, it actually ends up being cheaper on Tesco Direct. The girl I spoke to at Mothercare CS checked with her manager and confirmed they could only price match the price advertised.
I always wondered why Tesco did things like this, make you put in a code to acquire the discount they are offering which isn't limited to certain people but in this circumstance, it's very clever of them. Annoying for me though!0 -
If anyone is after a sterilliser set I just ordered this one - Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Essential Sterilisation Set £120
and pricematched it with Amazon for £64.99
It also qualifies for the £10 pricematch voucher which they'll send you in the post.

Hi all.
On Saturday I ordered a pushchair on price match. In all the excitement I forgot to ask about the £10 voucher.
Will they send this automatically or should I have asked for it? It doesn't show on my account as an order.

TIA
Whenever I have ordered from them I mention the voucher and they say it will arrive seperatly in 7 days, but last time I ordered it didn't come, so I phoned them up saying that I havent recieved it and the customer service guy said that the collegue that placed order did not put it through. So he got it sent to me.
I think if you phone up and explain they will send it to you. They have a excellent customer service from my experience.0 -
Yesterday got a Vtech Storio price matched to play.com for £39.99 which qualified for the £10 voucher. The Vtech is £59.99 on mothercare so half price with the voucher!
Also got the Leapfrog Baby Activity Station price matched to the Leap frog Store for £54.99, this is £84.99 on the mothercare website & also qualified for £10 voucher.
Both items delivered free as original price over £50!0 -
just to let people know that Mothercare has stopped giving the £10 voucher for their pricematch.0

What a shame ! Still it was good while it lasted and difficult to see how they managed to make any money from people like me who only buy from them on price matches and glitches.0
