Just wanted to say I placed 2 orders Friday, one of which I tried to cancel within an hour so helpdesk said couldn't be seen yet easily. As they wouldn't price match it was a obaby atlas push chair as theirs has scribbles not circles as on the other site. was told colour didn't matter but pattern must match. By way they have one with Khaki Circles for £69.99 kiddisave has other circle colours at £44.95. So should I think match. So I aggreed to cancel order. Push chair turned up monday and having just called back mothercare order never got canceled.

Second order Friday aggreed 2 overcharges a £90 refund to price match and £20 for the 2 items in vouchers recieved but refund didn't happen. Customer service can see was aggreed and should have been done but saying sorry can see wasn't are now refunding my credit card and should be showing in a couple of days.

I now have to return a buggy to store grrr. Have made 4 calls to bank and an extra call to their customer service hope its the end.

Also there is a printerable £5 voucher when spend £30 and collect goods in store in the

I didnt think they price matched with ELC?

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
  • customer services at mothercare are useless, my son poked a big hold in his new travelcot (the netting), they offered me an exchange or £50 voucher, i opted for voucher, they sent voucher to wrong address somehow?, then the 2nd one didnt turn up?, i made sure this one went to correct address and they said it did, now they are sending me one recorded delivery, still not turned up, they issued it on friday! i give up...it has been over a month since i complained.they confirmed it has been sent to the address i confirmed.

Yes, they do. I bought the Vtech soar rocket not so long ago for £6 and it was price matched against ELC. It later went down to £4.20, and that sold out straight away. :)

Hmmm it must be something to do with the voucher then as I remember seeing something. Or maybe I dreamt it :o

They've changed their T&Cs now and won't give out the £10 if they price check against ELC. The wording is a bit fuzzy though as it says:
The £10 gift voucher offer does not apply to ELC brand products sold on the mothercare website

Now what exactly is an ELC brand product? Is it an item made by and for ELC or is it something like the v-tech items which when you look on the MC website have an ELC sticker on them? I managed to price check the v-tech kidizoom camera last week (I would have posted but the item went OoS as soon as I came off the phone) but it's an ELC product. Fight your corner and don't be fobbed off.
