replacing tiled roof with glass

Hi

I have a single storey section at the back of my house off kitchen with patio doors.
I'd like to replace a section of the roof to make it similar to this http://www.cityroofers.co.uk/recent-roofing-projects.html

Do you think its possible? would be for a area approx 3m x 2.5 m

You most probably can do it but get a few quotes first , if its more for letting light in then perhaps a chaeper option would be the conservatory style roof !

thanks crazyguy, what do you mean by conservatory style?

What i have is a section of the back of the house single storey which houses the small area off kitchen where my patio doors are plus the utility room & wc
I'd like to make the area of the kitchen glass so its a little like a mini conservatory that will also add light to the kitchen as the kitchen gets limited natural light from the utilty & these patio doors.
hope that makes sense :O) i'll see how much it will cost.

The problem with the conservatory type roofing is the noise made when it rains..

Any glass in the roof will adversely affect the heat losses from the room concerned. If it is actually classed as a habitable room it might well reduce the over all U-value to below that permitted by the Building regulations.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
