Off topic slightly but i've been a member of the pipeline card since the start and they still haven't got it off the ground and i haven't heard anything for months.

Did you unsubscribe? I just got an update email off them, that's where I found the competition.

No never unsubscribed but i did complain to them about getting emails about special deals on sat navs when they said they weren't going to do stuff like that so maybe they banned me..lol

I wasn't abusive i just asked them to stop sending out emails about offers when they said they we're not in the buisness of offering deals they were just trying to set up a crad to save money.It will never happen anyway as they have been trying for well over a year now,possibly 2?

Yeah, it's just over a year and sorry, didn't mean to insinuate that you would be abusive, hope you didn't perceive it that way. He must have had quite a few comments about the offers that were sent out.

No don't worry i didn't take it like that:D

I think alot of people on MSE complained to them about the emails they sent out trying to flog the satnav.He banged on about how they are going to bring out this card and save us all money on petrol and how they would never have ads or sell stuff then went ahead and started emailing people trying to make money by selling satnavs:rolleyes:

I belong to the Pipeline Card. I have one e-mail address for things to sign up for and one for family and friends. That way I get e-mails/rubbish to one address and the other stays spam free.

Having said that I am quite happy with Pipeline. At least the guy has tried which considering he has not asked for any payment from anyone he must be doing some of it off his own back in his own time. Yes there will be big wins for him if he succeeds. I also, don't mind getting the offers. Its not like they come through every week or anything. Its once in a blue moon. If he does make money out of the Sat Navs good luck to him. Lets face it he probably has to pay to keep the web site going etc and that will be out of his own pocket.

Upshot is its easy to sit on the fence and criticise, but how many others have got off their backsides - none.
