I know this sounds stupid but I've got 4 of these overgrown shrub/bushes and don't know the name of it. It seems it was from when dad bought alot from Lidl about 10 years ago and he just looked at the height and spread on the label when he bought them and threw away the packing.
Now mum sent some photos to a friend in Greece whos mad about plants and want to know what it is? So if anyone can help identify it that would be great.
Height 1.5 - 1.8m
Spread 1.5 - 2m

Yep in narrowed the search a little to either florida, praecox or carnavel. But each time something wasn't 100 correct when checking on google image so will double check tomorrow in daylight. But Weigela florida is the main contender only that from what I've read the flowers are deep pink to red whereas mine are pale pink.
Oh and I was corrected by dad, he bought them in Safeways before it changed to Morrisons.0
