Boots & TV's'This Morning' - Xmas Appeal - Any ideas?
Boots in association with ITV's This Morning programme, have for years run a Christmas Appeal collecting toys for underprivileged children. It seems that this year they are not.
Does anyone know where I could make similar donations as an alternative please?
Keep smiling, Wilf.

I think the Lions and Rotary Clubs have a similar scheme. Try contacting your local branches.0

I was waiting for this information too but it seems that This Morning are this year running a campaign called 'Help a Hospice'.
If anyone is in the Black Country / West Midlands Area, Beacon Radio and West Bromwich Building Society are collecting 'Toys for Tots' this year.
Further details and Drop off points are on this link http://www.beaconradiowestmids.co.uk/charitableactivity/article/a2b58c41-eb94-4cb2-a773-42c2286ad892
It might be worth a listen out on your local radio stations for similar schemes near you.

I've emailed ITV and Boots but had no reply as yet.
Many thanks to lamb7994 for suggesting Asda. My nearest store is also collecting Christmas gifts for underprivileged kids. It seems a very similar scheme to the Boots / ITV campaign of previous years.
I'll be giving presents via Asda.
Thanks once again for the advice.

Some asda stores like my local one is supporting the local toys and tins appeal run inconjunction with a local paper.
But the national asda appeal is as toy said supporting Help The Aged along with the Salvation army. Distributing gifts which have been donated. Help the aged will be distributing their gifts to older people in the areas near each asda store.
Here's a like to the Help The Aged statement:
Help The Aged partnership with Asda
Thanks
James
I work for Help The Aged !!0
