Nissan service plan

Hi all,
I took my car in for service and MOT today at a Nissan dealer. After the service I was offered a service plan for £16 and some pennies per month (17 payments) which would cover servicing for two years, roadside assistance and 10% off any other work (parts and labour) required during the two years.
Has anyone used this sort of service plan? I can see the benefits of spreading the costs over the 17 months and they say it works out cheaper than just paying for the services but was wondering what drawbacks there are. Any feedback from people who have gone for this type of deal would be appreciated!

BMW did something similar with the Mini.
If your usage and annual mileage fit in with what they are offering then seems a good deal.
Takes away the big bills, but you need to check what is and what isnt included, I don't reckon tyres will be included, maybe not brakes aswell?0
