hello to you helpful people.
my front door is currently invalid for our insurance against burglary! it was handmade by the previous house owners and lets just say its a bit of a DIY job! however, now i'm looking for a new one i understand why they made thier own!
my front door opening is only 73cm wide and any amount of googling i do just doesnt seem to come up with any companies that make any doors other than the standard 78cm.
is it a chippie that i need? OH who thinks he knows things bout house stuff but really doesnt said we will have to chop the door way bigger - surely not?
thanks for any info

Ask your local joiner for a quote, if possible get at least 3 quotes, this will give you a fair average for the job. Plenty of companies around who will make a door and frame to measure. For example http://www.twjoinery.co.uk/ who I have seen to deliver satisfactory results.
