Over ther weekend I applied to transfer £4420.00 from a Halifax creditcard to a Barclaycard. Having just logged on to my Halifax account I realised a minimum payment of approx £70 has been deducted from the Halifax creditcard leaving the amount at £4351.47.
What will happen now ? The amount I am attempting to transfer will be more than I owe the Halifax.

Should be easy to get the halifax to refund you the credit balance of £70. Just ring them and ask for a refund. I did the same last week with MBNA and they credited my bank account.0
