Long story short; wife decided to put my iPhone 4 in the washing machine.
Took it into the Apple store in the Arndale, Manchester. Seen quickly and efficiently, advised it would be £139 for a replacement phone (which was fine, as it was clearly my fault and obviously wouldn't be covered by a warranty) but as a gesture of goodwill, they would replace it for free!
Fantastic result for me, and the wife is now off the hook!:T:T
