Thanks so much. I think we will sit down and look at the 'to do' list soon. Right now he's kinda shattered each day due to the stress levels. Since the initial stuff happened earlier this week, things have moved non-stop so we're kind of on the back-foot catching up. But thankfully he's also keeping in contact with his networks and making sure he's not isolated either, so I'm relieved by that. I think maybe once it is all sorted and things settle down, we'll make sure he gets a routine going whilst he's looking for work.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention stress levels. As you can see, I am a "wrap around lawyer" - i pick up loads of stuff!

So stress - same advice. Stress is exacerabted by inactivity and loss of routine. Too much fretting time! It is also alleviated by rigourous or "violent" activity. It is an evolutionary protection measure for our bodies designed to deal with sabre tooth tigers - not employers making us redundant. You therefore need to literally "burn it off" with physical activity to set your body back to working the way it should. Try googling "flight or fight response" if you want to know more.
