I was made redundant in April 2011 due to lack of funding. My employee has just contacted me to say that more funding has come into the pot and there maybe a chance i can have my job back. Am i under any obligiabtion to pay back my redundancy money. I have been using it to pay my bills etc?

No. You were made redundant and will have a break in employment. If you go back you will start over again as a new employee - so all your rights based on service are gone. But you can certainly go back and keep the money.0

Some employers put clawback conditions on their enhanced packages.0

true. But (a) given the reference to "funding" and the dates, I assumed the sector and didn't expect it would be enhanced and (b) few of them are actually enforceable! A completed redundancy is a contract like anything else, and certain types of clauses are nigh on unenforceable if someone refuses to roll over. Of course, the problem is that few people refuse because they want their job back!0
