Hey whats the best protein shake for someone who just does pressups and chin ups? Local shops always want to promote their own kinda brands so its hard to judge for a newbie. Build and recover extreme nutrition any good?

Hi, my OH uses these and he says anything that contains whey powder will benefit you. He uses For Goodness Shakes which you can buy from various supermarkets - Morrisons have them for £1 at the moment. If you want to make up your own drink he says Holland and Barrett are the cheapest place to buy whey powder which you mix with water or milk. HTH.Ye cannae hing mince on a hook. :rotfl:0

Received £1400 charges - 2006:j0 -

I'd recommend MyProtein, plenty of flavours, mixes well with water and milk, reasonable cost and good delivery. All IMO anyway.Little lady arrived 13/12/110

I use Boditronics whey or whatever is on offer at the time. Tesco do a Sci-Mx protien powder.
I prefer banana flavour as not keen on the chocolate flavours.
I always buy on-line as usually cheaper. There are loads of online supplement stores. Just go through them all and see whats cheapest.0
