No, they are single driver usually from new till they are removed from the fleet at three years old.

Addison Lee do less dead mileage due to the fact they have so many vehicles and when you drop you will not have to run far for the next job.

There are some with over 130k, almost certainly a splits or night driver, most of the lower miles ones will be day drivers.

You have to factor in that AddLee have several thousand drivers in the London area alone.

They are as common in London as Black Cabs.

They get tyem for a lot less than retail put it like that.

AddLee has its own leasing company, they are rented to the drivers, after three years the lease co has to dispose of them, they will have been fully offset against tax so they are sold to AddLee car sales for disposal, i know Black Cabs hate AddLee and the owner Griffen, but whatever you think he and his sons have built up a formidable business model.

Succeasful enough to put Liam Griffen in the seat of a Touring Car every weekend and also to crash said touring car most weekends aswell.

Makes me laugh when blackcab drivers slag off Griffen and say he couldn't do the knowledge blah, blah.

Why would he have wanted to, he had other much grander ideas than driving a cab.

I'm pretty sure that local councils set the maximum that black cabs (and other hackney carriages) can charge. Nothing to stop them charging less, they just can't charge more
