Thanks. I quite like the idea of being able to have different answering machine messages for different people. Does anybody know if there are any domestic answering machines available that actually support this?Stompa0 -

OK thanks.Stompa0 -
I recently switched to the Post Office for my phone calls to take advantage of the free £50 they were offering if you switched and am now paying for my caller display service.
I previously didn't pay BT for caller display as I had enrolled in their Bt privacy programme.
If I now start making the 6 required calls per 3 months, will they automatically stop charging me the caller display fee?Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -

No because you elected to move your line rental and calls to the Post Office. You only get the nearly free service if your line rental is still with BT,even if your calls are elsewhere. One of a number of reasons why its not a good idea to move your line rental from BT.
If you have had the £50 it will probaly pay you to move your line rental back to BT,and your calls elsewhere.
