Why do I have to keep signing in on Ebay?

Everytime I go to Ebay, be it 24 hours or 2 hours, I have to log in again, despite the keep me signed in being ticked.:( I'm the only one who uses this pc, so I wouldn't mind staying signed in, but I don't! I've taken to logging out and logging back in again before I bid, as I've missed a couple of things by having to sign in again before I can bid. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? Also when I click on, in Ebay emails, either the View item button or the actual item in the post, it always takes me to a page saying this item has been removed. I always have to go to My Ebay to see the items. Do you think the two problems are connected, and does anyone know how to stop them? Should I post this on Techie instead of here? If so apologies, I'll do that.:o Many thanks.

Mine is just the same. I had gone months without needing to type in my password whenever I opened ebay, but now every few hours or so I'm prompted to 'sign in'.

are your settings set correctly? eg if you are on firefox say, your privacy settings might be set to close remembered passwords everytime you close firefox.

Yes, they are OK, as my login and password is there when it asks me to login. I go to Ebay, login, have a look around, save something to watchlist, and I have to sign in again before I can save it. I've just now left Ebay, having signed in twice in 35 minutes, and if I went back now, I'd have to sign in again! So annoying, but easy I suppose as all my details are there, I just need to click on the login button (once a day :D , every time  ).

The same thing is happening to me. I'm also getting annoying pop ups telling me about items similar to the one I'm viewing (I've never had that before)
