Anyone have this netbook? Any good?

Options
If I can't fix the charging pin thingy on my netbook I might have to buy another one (the shop has said it will cost £85 to fix!) I've had it 3 years so it might be time.
Anyway I've seen this one on Argos, does it look any good?

I bought one when it was £150, and for that money you can't fault it for what it is, a cheap low powered computer. Do they have any in stock though?

I also put Ubuntu netbook on it.

I think Asda have an emachines netbook for £169.99, that is a similar spec.

Girlfriend bought one a couple of weeks ago for £130. Shame that you missed it, they had quite a few.

She is happy with Windows XP as her other laptop has the same, though it's easy to upgrade it to Windows 7.

I'm not so sure about the e-Machine though. Plus the battery life will be lesser. Think a little longer about it.

The MSI Wind U135 DX-1484UK indicated in your original post is better.

PS would you save things off this one before I attempt to open it up? Don't want to lose everything!!

You can save the data if you want to do so. Though even if you completely stuff it up, you can still use an external caddy costing less than £4 in order to create an external hard drive out of the internal drive in the Netbook. :)
